Arts After Hours readies youth theater workshop

LYNN — Arts After Hours, Lynn’s community theater, announces that online registration is open for its Summer Theatre Workshop, a program for Lynn.
The youth theater initiative aims to bring professional training, workshops and experiences to students.Financial aid is available.Following its successful round of one-day workshops in summer 2018, Arts After Hours is offering this one-week, half-day intensive, where youths will come together to learn and grow as theater artists and create a piece of theater in a culminating showcase.
Guided by professional theater educators Samantha Gambaccini and Brit Christopher, students will use play making to create a new work generated from creative writing, scenework, partner and group activities, and artistic exploration. Students will decide to participate as an actor or a technical theater designer/crew member, depending on their interests.Students and teens of any skill or experience level may take part.For more information, go to Interested in sponsoring a student or someone you know? Consider donating to allow AAH to grant financial aid and scholarships to any Lynn student who wants to join the program. Cost is $150 per participant, but all donations are appreciated.
